Frequently asked questions

How does it work?

Simply choose the driver you want to try. If there is an option of stiff or reg shaft, make your choice and we’ll send it out for you to try. You have 4 days to test your driver before sending it back free of charge.

What if I damage the club?

We are aware that the clubs will get scuffed here and there and that we accept. However dents in the head and anything that renders the club unusable will be charged at the full RRP of the club. So please, please be careful, we don’t want to be charging anyone any more than a hire price.

What if the club doesn’t arrive?

Our postage is tracked so we tend to know what’s going on. If you don’t receive it, we’ll take it up with the courier and in the mean time try to send you out another club.

What’s the deal with sending it back?

In the box will be a return label, simply stick it over the original label and take the parcel to your local collection point (normally a shop). Again the postage is tracked so we tend to know what’s going on.

What if the club is late back?

Failure to return the Equipment for any reason on the Last Hire Day or when requested to do so by Test Driver will result in our charging your payment card, £15 per day for three days, the full amount of the recommended retail price for the equipment will be charged on the fourth late day, in addition to any charges for the Hire Period and late fees. If the Equipment is returned after this time reimbursement of money in any part will be at the decision and discretion of Test Driver.

Can I buy any of your clubs?

Some of our clubs are for sale and also there is an option on some clubs to keep the one you have hired. When you hire the club there will be a leaflet inside telling you if the that club is purchasable / keepable. We also have our clubs for sale page so check that out too.

Do you only hire out drivers?

So far yes, soon you will be able to hire putters too.

Can I keep the club for longer?

Yes you can.
